Hello and welcome to CabinetLessons.com!

If you have a love of woodworking in general and enjoy talking “shop,” then this is the place to be! I’ve worked in the family business (residential construction) off and on for a number of years and have had the pleasure of designing/building/installing a lot of beautiful custom cabinets throughout the years.

This blog will be primarily devoted to providing free information on how to build custom cabinets for residences and not for commercial cabinetry.  We’ll also get into finish carpentry as that is directly tied to nearly every custom cabinetry project.

We may discuss the “business-side” of the cabinetry business but that’s not really the reason I created the blog. I really created it to discuss the building of custom cabinets for DIYers that would like to beautify their home or the home of someone they love.
